Former High Flyer released from Prison

Former high flyer business man Rodney Adler has been released from Prison. The press is rife with storys of the release of Rodney Adler.
Most of the Press seems to have taken a rather negative stance towards the formerly once popular business man.

Smh story is titled: Take me to my mansion
The Daily Telegraph titles its story: 'Arrogant' Adler's champagne celebration
The Herald Sun titled its story: HIH crook walks out of jail in designer suit

Despite the story having a distinctly unfriendly apprach to Adler, it was noted that Mr Adler had been subjected to "anti-Semitic abuse and derogatory comments by fellow prisoners."

It seems that the once very powerful Adler received no favors whilst in prison. The Daily Telegraph reported that:

"The fact he was a rich Jewish man certainly didn't help. It was anti-Semitic verbal abuse by other inmates.''

Adler was not allowed to receive regular visits from his friend Rabbi Pinchus Feldman, and it took prison officers two months to pass on a book on Jewish ethics sent to him.

Rabbi Feldman, spiritual leader of the Yeshiva Centre, was able to visit Adler only three times, despite protocol allowing rabbis to visit prisoners regularly.

"He was treated with great strictness,'' Rabbi Feldman told The Sunday Telegraph.

This theme of anti semitic taunting by fellow inmates was continue by the Herald Sun.

All in all it would seem that Rodney Adler's first day of release was the equivalent of 'out of the frypan into the fire'.
